Unity Classes

Unless otherwise stated all Workshops and Classes are offered on a love offering basis and all are welcome.

Unity 101 Class Sunday, February 28, from 11:30am-1:30 pm.

Unity 101 offers a wonderful overview of the history & mission of Unity as a Spiritual Movement that is more than a hundred years old. Participants also get an overview of Unity’s Basic Principles, and Unity as a way of life. You’ll learn about Unity Spiritual Center’s Vision, Mission, Purpose and Values. You’ll discover why we have Voting Members and the difference membership makes in ones life.
Unity 101, along with The ‘I’ of the Storm, are required classes
for Voting Membership.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

We are starting a Prayer Shawl Ministry at USC!
We will be meeting the first Tuesday of the month, beginning March 2, from 6:30-8:00 in Kids World.
Deb Coscia will facilitate and teach us the stitches for the shawls (no experience necessary). Please bring a Size K crochet hook. We will provide some practice yarn. There is no fee for this class; sign-up sheet on back table. Here's some info on this growing, faith-based ministry: "Compassion and the love of knitting/crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in celebration and joy. Many blessings are prayed into every shawl. Whether they are called Prayer Shawls, Comfort Shawls, Peace Shawls, or Mantles, etc., the shawl maker begins with prayers and blessings for the recipient. The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. Upon completion, a final blessing is offered before the shawl is sent on its way.” For more info: www.shawlministry.com

THREE MAGIC WORDS

Come join Peter Minchella for this six week Thursday night class
beginning March 18, from 7-8:30 pm

Miracle Sharing Group

Since so many meetings and visitings happen after Sunday service and we miracle seekers have had trouble finding a consistent time slot, we'll be trying something new ...
meeting BEFORE service!  We will still be meeting the third Sunday of each month, but our gathering will begin at 9:40am in the Unity Bookstore (or elsewhere, if more
space is required).

The first meeting at the new time will be:

          Unity Spiritual Center Bookstore
          9:40am

As we will have limited time, please remember we will not be discussing anyone's experience -- just listening and thanking for the sharing.  If time permits after all have related their miracles, discussions will be welcomed... and could be continued after service.
