INTRODUCING OUR YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY PROGRAM
Unity Spiritual Center educators of children and teens are dedicated to teaching the principles of Truth as taught and exemplified by Jesus Christ and interpreted by the Unity Movement and Unity Worldwide Ministries.
To create a loving environment in which children and teens may unfold their Divine potential. We do this by offering Sunday morning classes taught by dedicated, loving teachers. We also partner with other ministries at Unity Spiritual Center to provide fun family activities and opportunities for our young people to be of service within our Center and in the community-at-large.
What Happens in Youth Ministry on Sunday Mornings?
When you arrive at Unity Spiritual Center, your child will be greeted by one of our friendly teachers. Then he or she will be invited to participate in a lesson prepared for his or her age group. Your child will learn many of the same principles as you will learn in the Sunday Service, only in an environment that is fun and engaging for children. At the end of the Sunday Service experience, he or she will join the congregation to sing the Peace Song. Twice a year, the Sunday service is turned over to the children for a special children’s program.
How Does Youth Ministry Benefit Your Family?
- By offering programs that build family and community relationships among families.
- By teaching Unity concepts that help children and teens demonstrate Truth and know that one person can make a difference.
- By helping your children discover the value of who they are.
- By empowering children and youth to use their spiritual wisdom to fulfill their soul’s purpose.
